Frequently Asked Questions

Q1. What makes KN Fitness different from other training programs?

Training at KN Fitness is personal—not generic. Every session is designed around your goals, fitness level, experience and lifestyle.

My focus is to help you learn proper form, build confidence and create habits you can maintain. You’ll receive personalized guidance, accountability and support both inside and outside the gym.

Q2. I’m a beginner. Can I still train with you?

Absolutely. I work with complete beginners, including people who have never exercised or stepped inside a gym before.

You don’t need to be strong, experienced or confident to begin. I’ll meet you at your current level and guide you through every movement at a comfortable pace.

Q3. What types of training do you offer?

KN Fitness offers three personalized training options:

  • Individual Training: One-on-one coaching designed around your goals and fitness level.

  • Partner Training: Train alongside a friend, spouse or family member while receiving personalized coaching.

  • Summit and Hiking Training: Build the strength, endurance, mobility and confidence needed for hiking, backpacking or preparing for a mountain summit.

Q4. Where do sessions take place?

In-person sessions are held at a fully equipped gym at Verde Esterra Park in Redmond, Washington.

Q5. How long is each training session?

Each training session is 50 minutes and includes a warm-up, focused training and a cool-down. Every part of the session is designed to help you move safely, train effectively and make progress.

Q6. Do I need to complete an assessment first?

Yes. All new clients begin with a 50-minute fitness assessment.

We’ll discuss your goals, review your health and exercise history, assess your movement and complete a workout. This helps me create a safe and personalized training plan for you.

Q7. How often should I train each week?

Most clients train two to three times per week, depending on their goals, schedule and current fitness level. I’ll help you choose a training schedule that is realistic and allows you to progress consistently.

Q8. What are your rates?

Current rates are available on the Individual Training and Partner Training pages.

Discounted per-session pricing is available when purchasing sessions in bulk.

Q9. What is your rescheduling and cancellation policy?

Please provide at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule a session.

Your first cancellation or rescheduling request made with less than 24 hours’ notice will be waived with no charge. After the first occurrence, a $20 late-change fee will apply.

There is no fee when at least 24 hours’ notice is provided.

Q10. How do I get started?

Visit the Book Your Fitness Assessment page to schedule your 50-minute assessment.

We’ll discuss your goals, evaluate your starting point and determine the best training plan for you.
